overview

Corporate Visions is seeking an experienced financial analyst to join our growth-oriented team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Senior Financial Analyst will focus on financial and strategic planning, monthly reporting and analytics, and strategic decision-making support. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an FP&A role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

They must have a detailed understanding of financial and operating metrics and the levers that drive profitability. The Senior Financial Analyst must be effective working with all functional leadership within the organization, including CFO, CCO and CEO, as well as be an effective and collaborative team leader.

A successful person in this role will possess attention to detail, technical knowledge, and superior communication and organizational skills balanced with the ability to see the big-picture. Corporate Visions is a fully remote work environment, and this position can be based anywhere in the United States, with a slight preference to East Coast.

financial & operational reporting

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages to various stakeholders
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for finance and leadership team meetings; monthly operating reviews and board meetings
  • Design, present, and monitor timely and relevant reporting, dashboards, KPI’s and benchmarks to support and drive strategic and operational decision-making
  • Work with all levels of management to ensure migration to system- and process- driven reporting environment
  • Obtain financial and non-financial data from various sources and present in single reporting platform

planning & forecasting

  • Design and oversee effective, consolidated budget and forecasting integrated models (P&L, balance sheet and cash flows)
  • Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data for several areas of business working with cross[1]functional team
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to manage and improve cash flow forecasting process
  • Drive the implementation of an FP&A tool, such as Planful or Adaptive

business analysis

  • Provide analysis on key metrics as well as actual results vs. plan for the review with internal stakeholders
  • Support and advise senior management with insightful ad hoc analysis supporting operational efficiencies and driving profitable growth
  • Support all internal departments in the preparation of business cases for internal review.

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Experience in a professional services environment preferred, as well as with Sage/Intacct and an FP&A tool
  • CPA/Accounting experience is a plus

general skills & competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting › Minimum 5 years experience in FP&A role

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and managing large Excel based models and data sets required
  • Experience with data analysis, data consolidation and business intelligence tools and systems (Power BI, Tableau, Visual Basics, SQL, Microsoft Access)
  • Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems
  • History of driving initiatives of continuous process improvements
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring impeccable quality of work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
